Singapore National Day  Singapore's national flags hanging bright, A sea of red and white under the sunny sky.  As nation turns fifty-nine, Citizens murmur, "Are we doing fine?" Singapore belongs to the citizens,  Not to the dirty PAP's dozens.  In this national day's parade,  They shamelessly descent facing people in the esplanade.  Leaders once held in high esteem, Now citizens face a wakeup dream. Promising much, delivering less, Citizens left in great distress. Millionaires welcomed with open hands, Buy up properties of well known brand.  While locals struggle to find space to build a home, Can only find something in a distance zone.  Ministers care not citizen's plight,  Cause their pockets line with citizens' supply.  They live in bungalows with land aplenty,  While many citizens homes are empty.  They travel in luxury cars,  With bodyguards not too far.
