Our Love for Dogs Dogs are sent by our heavenly King Giving us joy and the love it brings.  Hugging them tight and feeling their fur Preferring their bark to the cat's purr . When taking them to the park They had been trained not to depart  Staying by your side all the time  Ensuring you are safe from all crime.  They are our pets and  bodyguards  We love them with all our heart  Our days are filled with happiness  Their love for us is instantaneous.  We can't bear to be away from them  Cause they are our precious gems. Pedigrees are an attraction for thief, Losing them will cause us grief.  Knowing our days with them are short  Praying to lengthen their lives from God  As they age faster than us from the start  Hoping the day will not come for them to depart.  Author  :    MikeleeFye 15 Dec 2023

In month of May flowers bloom bright, Health and wealth be your delight. The sun's warm rays and gentle breeze, Bring joy and peace that never cease. May each day dawn with hope anew, And dreams you cherish all come true. May fortune smile upon your way, And blessings fill your every day. Those Early Days  The days are getting shorter  The ending is near We can only wait and pray To the Lord we place our fear. We had been blessed  The day that we were born  Being young and carefree  With no responsibility to perform.  Materials desires were easily available  Spending without a thought  Not knowing the wisdom of saving  Purchased not caring the cost.  Friends were plenty all around Merry making was the norm Alcohol and ladies all at disposal  Life was perfect, no thought for reform.  Knowing a dame I thought an angel With ignorance I pursue with might  The days were fun with laughter  Being blind, could not see the light. An end to all things soon occurred  The angel began to change  Wanting to sever for another  Leaving me hopeless and deranged.  Pain and loneliness soon I feel  Crying and asking was it for real Then from my slumber I awake  Telling myself it's not too late.  To overcome pain and sadness  Join colleagues for games in club We talk and joke with madne

Month Of May In the month of May my wish unfolds, To build a blog where my poems can be told. With hopes held high but fears in the way, The thought of tech hurdles keeps me at bay. Not a computer expert I feel lost, The fear of complications, a feature I can't cross. Help arrives in my nephew's kind hand, With videos and guidance, he helps me to understand. With open eyes and an inquisitive mind, I see the process and not being bind. Step by step the blog takes shape, A space for my words, a poetic escape.
